Allison Brooks Janney is an American actress from America. She is known for her work on the screen and stage. In addition, she's received nominations for two Tony Awards and has won an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award as well as a Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Allison Janney, who spent nearly 20 years performing in regional theatres, became known for her role as White House Press Secretary C.J. Anna Faris is leaving her CBS sitcom Mom at the beginning of its eighth season. Faris originally said she wanted to quit the show Mom so that she could accept new challenges. Today, however, she reveals more about the reasons behind her return to acting. Janney was wearing a wig since the very beginning of the show she wasn't worried. Fallon said to her "'Guys I've been wearing a wig ever since the first season, but nobody knew. So now everybody is conscious.'" Janney plans to keep the wig as a souvenir. According to reports, she made up an average of $125,000 to $225,000 per episode in the first seasons. The show's creators estimate that in the third or fourth season however that Faris along with their partner Allison Janey were earning $200,000 each episode.
